Zusammenfassung

Therapeutisches Arbeiten wird wesentlich geprägt durch den Umgang mit »Problemen organisierter Komplexität«. In diesem Zusammenhang befaßt sich die vorliegende Arbeit mit der Frage, wie Überlegungen zur Systemdefinition transparent und nachvollziehbar in die Entscheidung für bestimmte therapeutische Settings einfließen können. Das Konzept des »Problem-Systems« erhält dabei einen besonderen Stellenwert. Schließlich wird der Vorgang des Identifizierens als eine kritische Variable für die Beantwortung der Setting-Frage diskutiert und an einem Beispiel erläutert.

The Selection of a Setting: Questions and Reflections on the Relations of Theory and Therapeutic Workday

The necessity of dealing with »problems of organised complexity« appears as a central aspect of therapeutic work. In this context the author discusses the question, in what way reflections on the definition of a system can be made transparent as (re- )source for making a decision about a concrete setting for therapeutic purposes. The concept of »problem-system« is thereby of special interest. Finally the process of identifying is discussed as a critical variable for answering the setting question. It is illustrated with an example.
